Description

Galleri Christoffer Egelund proudly presents the exhibition “if it’s fixed, break it” featuring five danish artists who all work within the field of fine art photography.

The constructed and the question about photographic representation is key, when Asbjørn Skou, Jesper Rasmussen, Kim William Catton, Ditte Knus Tønnesen and Jakob Hunosøe come together in the project room of the gallery. Even though the five artists all have completely different ways of stylistic expression, they all share a mutual interest in challenging and exploring contemporary photography as we know it. Traditional conventions of experiencing photography are broken up, both in the presentation and in the content, when the viewer is faced with manipulated images and encouraged to fix their gaze upon them once more to reflect about the realitites we are presented with.

Opening is on the 5th of June, at 17:00. The exhibition will be on display until 20th of June. We hope to see you there!

Curated by Christian Klintholm. The exhibition is a part of Copenhagen Photo Festival 2015.
